The wheels on the bus!

Hi there,

I love this song, it is one of my favourites for children: "The wheels on the bus"

I've prepared a fun activity: while children sing the song, they mime the actions and play with a  paper bus with real moving wheels. You can use this template I've created by myself and give one to each student:

They may cut the bus and the wheels and fix each one on its spot using butterfly clips. Moreover, they may draw pictures of their family or friends in the bus windows. It would be a funnier activity!

You can print the bus template here.

Hope you like it! Best regards,

Angela C.

PS: I use an Art App with my tablet to create a lot of templates like this one. Please check this link for more information ("Drawing with Carl")

Fruits - Criss Cross

Hi there,

Today I've created a criss cross about fruits to practice and review vocabulary to enhance both writing and reading skills. As a clue, children should fill in the gaps with the corresponding vowels and then they will find the right word for each picture of the fruit.

Listen a story!

Hi there!

I love Elmer's books. Elmer is a sweet elephant. But he is not grey as elephants, he is patchwork!

I've become a storyteller and  I bring you a podcast with the story of Elmer:

You can download Elmer's book in .pps format here and it can be used it in an interactive white board while listening the podcast.  Then we can ask some basic questions to children in order to improve oral expression and check if they have undesrtood the story: "who is Elmer?", "is Elmer grey?", is he a funny or boring elephant?", "why does he want to be grey?" and so on.

Hope you like it! Best regards,

Angela C.

The weather

Hi again!

Weather is all around us!  Yesterday was raining, today is sunny...Let's talk about the weather! We may prepare a weather lesson plan with some activities in our preschool class.

Therefore, I've created a couple of worksheets that can help us with the activities:

1. "What's the weather like?" - Children should write the answer of the question about the weather:

2. "What's the weather like this week?" - Childrens can keep a weather diary. They can practice and review vocabulary. Worksheet has two parts: the first one is the weekly diary to be written by the students and the second one has pictures to be cut and pasted into the first part.

These worksheets are printable here

Hope you like it! Best regards,
